UTICA MAN CHARGED WITH FELONY

The New Hartford Police arrested Mitchell Collazo, 34, of Lansing St. Utica for Grand Larceny in the Third Degree.  According to police on November 10th, 2006 acquaintances of Collazo, Katrina McGinley and Ivy Suarez called in a false Robbery at the McDonalds on Seneca Turnpike.  Both McGinley and Suarez were arrested that night and charged.  A police investigation found that Collazo was also involved but was not located that that time.  An Arrest Warrant was eventually issued by New Hartford Town Court.

On 01/18/07 Collazo was located by Officers of the Rome Police Department and turned over to the New Hartford Police Dept.  Collazo was arraigned in the Town Of New Hartford Court and sent to the Oneida County Jail in Lieu of $5000.00 cash bail. His case will be continued in court at a later date.
