03/09/07 New Hartford Man Arrested For DWI
On March 9th, 2007 at 11:55 PM the New Hartford Police arrested Dennis W. Cartwright, 62 of New Hartford of Driving While Intoxicated. According to Patrolman Matthew Sica, Cartwright’s vehicle a 2006 Pontiac was observed weaving in and out of his lane and entered the opposite lane. After stopping the vehicle Cartwright became uncooperative with the Officers at the scene. As the officers attempted to place him into custody he began to physically resist their attempts to handcuff him. Cartwright was taken into custody and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Failure to keep right, refusing a breath screening device and resisting arrest.
Cartwright was arraigned in the Village of New Hartford Court and remanded to the Oneida County Correctional Facility on bail. He is to return to court at a later date.
