Pula, of Oriskany, was charged with two felony counts, two misdemeanor counts and a violation after assaulting a sixteen-year-old female at a residence located on Elm St. in the Town of New Hartford.  Pula and the teenage female were involved in a verbal argument, which escalated into a physical altercation.  While fleeing the scene, Pula flagged down a vehicle and asked for assistance.  When the vehicle stopped, Pula got in the vehicle and held the driver at knifepoint, forcing him to drive to a residence in the Town of Whitestown.
