Parole Arrested for Thefts
On March 29, 2010 at about 8:00 PM the New Hartford Police Department arrested Parolee David W. Brantley 44, of Utica. According to Patrolman Matthew Sica, Sears security personnel observed Brantley enter the store empty handed and then proceeded to pick up a cook wear set. Brantley then went to the returns desk and returned the merchandise and took store credit for it. Further investigation found that Brantley had done the same thing on March 21st, 2010 at Sears also. In all he has been charged with two counts of Petit larceny for taking a total of $260.00. Brantley was arraigned in the Town Of New Hartford Court and sent to the Oneida County Jail on $1000.00 cash bail. He is to return to court on 04/01/10. .
