The New Hartford Police Department is asking the public for assistance in locating a sixteen year old male who ran away from his residence. Sixteen year old Errick S. Case was last known to be in the The Village of Herkimer, N.Y. There are no criminal charges against Case, Police are attempting to ascertain his whereabouts so that he may be returned to his mother who resides in Whitesboro, N.Y. During the course of the investigation into Case’s whereabouts, Police have learned that Case was picked up by a teenaged friend of his who is only known as “Zach” and then traveled with friends to the Herkimer area.

Case is not believed to be in danger, police are seeking him to see to it that he is returned to the custody of his parent and returns to school, which he has not been attending. Case is described as 6’02” tall, 175lbs, with brown eyes and brown curly hair. He was last scene wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white stripes, blue jeans, and brown work boots. Case may at some point have traveled to Syracuse, N.Y., but that has not been confirmed. Attached is a recent photograph of Case. Anyone who knows Case’s whereabouts or has any other information about where Case may be or who he is with, or in addition anyone who spots him is asked to call The New Hartford Police Dept. at 315-733-6666 or to contact their local police agency.
