Little Falls Man Jailed on Kidnapping and other Charges

The State Police in Herkimer have charged DAVID M. LIPIEC, 42, of Bellinger Road, Little Falls, NY with Kidnapping 2nd, a class B Felony. LIPIEC was arraigned in Town of Herkimer Court before Judge Michael Petucci and returned to Herkimer County Jail where he remains on $20,000 cash bail relating to a charge of Unlawful Imprisonment on March 1st, 2009.

LIPIEC was charged following the investigation into the abduction of a 29-year-old female who was picked-up in the Village of New Hartford, NY and held against her will at a residence in the Town of Danube in Herkimer County on February 7th, 2009, according to New Hartford Police Chief Raymond Philo.

LIPIEC was charged following a joint investigation by New York State Police in Herkimer and the New Hartford Police Department.
