Chadwicks Woman Jailed on Assault and Weapons Charges

On March 14, 2009 at about 6:40 pm the New Hartford Police responded to School St in Chadwicks for a verbal dispute that turned violent when a 32 yr old Sauquoit woman was struck in the face with a beer bottle.

Ptl. M.T. Kowalski states that an investigation led to the arrest of two Chadwicks women Brandee M. Weeks age 25 of Chadwicks and Patti A. Kimball age 36.  Weeks is accused of  using a beer bottle to strike the female victim in the face causing physical injury to her facial area.  Weeks faces charges of Assault 2nd degree, a class D felony and Criminal Possession of a weapon 4th degree, a class A misdemeanor. Kimball is accused of physically harassing the same female victim during the dispute and faces a Harassment 2nd degree charge, which is a violation. Kimball was released with an appearance ticket. Weeks was arraigned before Judge J. Vanslyke and remanded to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of cash bail. The female victim was treated at the scene and released.
