Woman Suffers Injuries In New Hartford Crash
The New Hartford Police investigated a two-car motor vehicle accident that injured a local woman Friday evening. The accident happened at the intersection of Seneca Turnpike and Commercial Drive.
According to Officer J.D. Gehringer the accident occurred at 9:30 pm when a vehicle operated by Katie Kenny, age 17, of Sauquoit was eastbound on Seneca Turnpike, and attempted to make a left turn onto Commercial Drive. Kenny’s vehicle struck a westbound vehicle on Seneca Turnpike operated by Ronald Sansone, age 41, of Clark Mills. The passenger in Sansone’s vehicle, Dana Dunham, age 41, also of Clark Mills complained of a knee and elbow injury and was treated at the scene by the New Hartford Fire Department and Edwards Ambulance. Kenny was issued a ticket for Failure to Yield Right Away and will answer the charge in next month in New Hartford Town Court.
