New Hartford Woman Facing DWI Charges After Crash 

The New Hartford Police Department investigated a motor vehicle accident early Saturday morning that resulted in Dwi charges for a New Hartford woman.  The accident occurred at the intersection of Tibbitts Rd and Oxford Rd.

According to Officer Jason Freiberger, the accident happened around 1:15 am when a vehicle being operated by Rosemary C. LoGalbo, age 53, of Snowden Hill Rd in New Hartford fell asleep while driving home.  LoGalbo’s vehicle crossed the opposite lane of the roadway on Tibbitts Rd near Oxford Rd and struck a ditch causing her vehicle to become stuck.  A passerby called police who responded to the scene and found LoGalbo in her vehicle unable to get out.  An investigation at the scene revealed that LoGalbo appeared to be intoxicated and was later charged with DWI..  LoGalbo complained of an ankle and arm injury and was transported to St Lukes Hospital for treatment by Edwards Ambulance.  LoGalbo  was additionally charged with Failure to Keep Right and will answer the charges next month in New Hartford town court.
