Man Arrested After Domestic Incident

On April 10, 2009 at approximately 4:25 am the New Hartford Police responded to a report of a domestic incident 28 Root Street in the Town of New Hartford.  Once uniformed Officers arrived on the scene, a male subject there armed himself with a kitchen knife.  After numerous requests to drop the knife, a taser gun was deployed to disarm the male at which time the subject was placed under arrest.

Bradley Thomas Young, age 35, who recently moved from California to 28 Root Street, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the third degree, a class D Felony, Menacing in the second degree, a class A Misdemeanor and Resisting Arrest, a class A Misdemeanor. 

Young was arraigned in the Town of New Hartford Court by Judge Virkler and committed to the Oneida County Jail on no bail.
