Taberg Man Arrested for DWI

Michael B. Cvetezar, age 28, of Kiwanis Road in Taberg was arrested for DWI, driving while his privileges were revoked, False Personation and numerous vehicle and traffic charges. According tp Sgt Paul Colburn, Cvetezar was stopped on State Route 5A at 7:35am for speeding. During the stop and arrest he did provide a false name, in an attempt to conceal the fact he was wanted on four misdemeanor warrants and his driving privileges were revoked for a prior DWI conviction.

Cvetezar was arraigned before Judge James Vanslyke who committed him to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $2000.00. Cvetezar faces grand jury action to upgrade the charges to felony DWI and Felony AUO due to him having a prior DWI conviction within the past ten years and for driving while intoxicated while having a revocation due to an alcohol conviction. He will be back in New Hartford Court on May 26.
