Statue Thefts from Several Local Cemeteries

The New Hartford Police along with the Utica Police Department are investigating several thefts involving marble and bronze biblical statues taken from burial plots in local cemeteries.

According to New Hartford Police Department and the Utica Police Department the statues were taken from the Calvary Cemetery on Oneida Street in New Hartford and St. Agnes Cemetery on Mohawk Street in the City of Utica.  The thefts are believed to have occurred between 05-22-09 and 05-26-09.
