2 Car Crash sends one to Hospital
At approx. 1:51 PM, the New Hartford Police Department along with the Willowvale Fire Company responded to a two-car collision on Roberts Road and Oneida Street in Chadwicks. An investigation into the collision revealed that Wendy Burton, 24, of Cassville was stopped at Roberts Road and when starting to merge onto Oneida Street her vehicle was struck from the rear end by a vehicle operated by Randy Bailin, 39, who resides in the state of California.
A passenger in Burton’s vehicle, Sallie J Burton, was treated at the scene by EMTs from the Willowvale Fire Company, and Edwards Ambulance Service then transported by Ambulance to Faxton/St. Lukes Hospital, St. Lukes Campus, after complaining of head pain. Bailin was ticketed for following too closely and will answer the charges in the Town of New Hartford Court at a later date.
