A New York Mill’s man was arrested Sunday after a brief Foot Chase
According to New Hartford Police a vehicle stop was made on Burrstone Road for a traffic violation. As Patrolman R. Hamo approached the vehicle, the operator drove away towards the City of Utica. A short time later the driver, who was later identified as Sean M. Wood, parked the vehicle he was driving on Watkins Ave. and took off running into the fields by Donovan Middle School. After a brief foot chase Sean Wood was taken into custody by Patrolman R. Hamo and charged with DWI, resisting arrest, parole violation, passing a red light, failure to comply, unlicensed operation, AUO 3rd, AUO 2nd. Sean was arraigned in New York Mills court and committed to Oneida County jail $3,000 cash / $6,000 bond. He is to reappear in Town of New Hartford court on June 19, 2007
