Utica Woman Arrested Following Larceny Investigation

The New Hartford Police Department arrested a 20-year-old Utica woman following an investigation into stolen credit cards.  According to Patrolman Andrew Allen, an investigation was opened regarding a stolen credit card used in the Sangertown Mall.  During the investigation, Police checked the credit card history, and discovered two unauthorized transactions that occurred at two separate stores within the Sangertown Mall.  Police were able to identify and locate suspect, Lisa K. Williams of Utica, who was subsequently arrested and charged with 1 count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree and 2 counts of Forgery in the Second Degree, both Felonies.  Williams was also charged with 2 counts of Petit Larceny, a class A Misdemeanor. 

Williams was arraigned in the Town of New Hartford Court and remanded to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $500.00 cash bail or $2000.00 bond.  She is expected to reappear in Court at a later date.
