Utica Woman Charged With Grand Larceny at St. Lukes Hospital

      A Utica woman was arrested and charged with a felony count of Grand Larceny after she was found to be stealing property at St. Lukes Hospital.

      According to Officer Scott Adsit, Jacqueline Thomas, age 31, of Utica was arrested on Sunday, July 29th after a complaint was filed by an employee at St. Lukes Hospital that her credit card was stolen from her purse.  The credit card was later located in the sewage pipeline of the hospital.

     Thomas was charged with one count of Grand Larceny in the Fourth degree, a Class E Felony.  During the investigative process it was learned that Thomas was also wanted out of the Town on New Hartford Court on a probation violation warrant dating back to 2005.  Thomas was arraigned in the Town of New Hartford Court and remanded to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $500.00 cash bail.  Thomas will return to the Town of New Hartford Court at a later date to answer these charges.
