Two Car Motor Vehicle Accident on Champlin Ave
On August 12, 2009 at about 6:55 pm, the New Hartford Police responded to a two-car personal injury motor vehicle accident on Champlain Ave. in front of St. Lukes Hospital.
Patrolman Jarod T. Petrie states that, Kendra L. Koury, age 21 of Utica, was traveling northbound on Champlain Ave and struck a vehicle that was stopped at a red light in front of her that was occupied by the driver, Michael S. Lahey, age 38 of Whitesboro. The collision caused extensive damage to both vehicles.
Koury, Lahey, and Lahey’s 3 passengers were treated for minor injuries on scene by the New York Mills Fire Dept. and Edwards Ambulance. Koury was ticketed for following to closely and will answer to the charges at a later date.
