An Amber Alert issued for two New Hartford Children

The Amber Alert system was activated late this evening by the New Hartford Police Department concerning the Parental Abduction of two children from the hamlet of Chadwicks by the non-custodial mother.  The mother and children were reportedly headed back to Texas.

Christin J. Brown, 24, of Texas is believed to have taken the children while under the care of a babysitter. The children, a 3 year old girl and 5 year old boy were last seen exiting a cab and getting into a silver vehicle with Texas plates. The vehicle was being operated by an unknown male.
