FRANKFORT WOMAN ARRESTED FOR DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
On September 1, 2009 at about 1:50 PM the New Hartford Police were called to the area of Genesee St and Oxford Rd for a vehicle operating erratically. A description of the vehicle was given over the Police Radio and Officers were able to locate it traveling south on Oxford Rd. The vehicle was observed by Officers swerving into the northbound lane of Oxford Rd. almost striking oncoming traffic. The vehicle was stopped on Oxford Rd. near Gateshead Rd. and the operator Theodora R. Wojcik-Helmer , 62 of Frankfort was subsequently arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. She was additionally charged with moving from lane unsafely and refusal of a breath-screening device. She was released with Traffic Tickets and is to appear in the Village of New Hartford Court at a later date.
