Man arrested for Petit Larceny for 87th time

      Town of New Hartford Police responded to the Sears Loss Prevention Department in the Sangertown Square Mall for a man who had stolen a cordless power drill.

      James C. Francis Jr., 58, was arrested for Petit Larceny and transported to the New Hartford Police Department for processing and arraignment.  Upon running a criminal history background check it was discovered that Francis Jr. had an extensive criminal history.  Francis Jr. has been arrested 86 previous times in several different areas throughout New York State.  Francis Jr. was sent to Oneida County Jail on $800.00 dollars cash bail or $1600.00 bond and will appear in Town of New Hartford Court on a later date.
