Scott Zimmer DWI Arrest

     Scott S. Zimmer, age 42, of Paris Hill Road in Sauquoit was arrested by Sgt Paul Colburn for driving while intoxicated. The arrest occurred on Sunday morning at 1:11 AM in the New Hartford Rec Center Parking Lot off of Mill St in the Village of New Hartford. Sgt Colburn states Zimmer was found passed out behind the wheel of his pickup truck in the parking lot. Zimmer refused to take a breath test. He was issued a traffic summons for the DWI and is to a appear in the Village of New Hartford Court on October 3 at 1:00 PM

     Zimmer has two prior driving while intoxicated convictions. Zimmer was also convicted of the leaving the scene of fatal motor vehicle accident in 2000. This accident occurred in July of 2000 in the Town Of Paris. Zimmer was accused of striking a female and leaving the scene. Zimmer then fled the state.
