Male Arrested for Forcible Touch After Sexual Assault Complaint
The New Hartford Police Dept. arrested a male for forcible touching after they received a complaint of a possible sexual assault. On August 18, 2007, the New Hartford Police Dept. received a complaint from an adult female that she believed that she had been the victim of a sexual assault. Ptl. Jarod T. Petrie stated that the police dept. initiated an aggressive investigation that resulted in the arrest of Mark A. Genther, 29, of Whitesboro, NY for 1 count of Misdemeanor Forcible Touching. Mark was arrested and released with an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of New Hartford court on November 6, 2007.
