Mother ans Son Arrested During Narcotics Search Warrant

The Oneida County Drug Task Force and New Hartford Police Department executed a "no knock" search warrant at 89 Oakdale Avenue in the Town of New Hartford late this evening. 

According to New Hartford Police Chief Raymond Philo arrested was Robin Barretta, 50, and Btyce Barretta, 16, both of that address. Ms. Barretta was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree (B Felony), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th Degree (C Felony), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree (A Misdemeanor), and two counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd degree (A Misdemeanor) after Investigators located over 4 grams of cocaine, a scale, and cocaine packaging materials. Mr. Barretta was charged with one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree (A Misdemeanor) and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana (Violation) after he was found in possesion of a quantity of cocaine and marihuana.

Mr. Barretta was processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable later this month. Ms. Baretta was arraigned in front of the Honorable James VanSlyke and remanded to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of cash bail and will return to the Town of New Hartford Court on October 13.
