CRASH SENDS CLINTON MAN TO HOSPITAL                         

On October 26th, 2009 at about 3:48 pm the New Hartford Police responded to a car pole motor vehicle crash on State Rt 12B in front of Myles Elementary School.

  Ptl. Michael Kowalski states that Richard D. Trevisani age 27 of Clinton was traveling southwest on State Rt 12B when he drove off the north shoulder of the roadway, and directly into a National Grid utility pole. Trevisani stated that he had fallen asleep at the wheel. The impact with the pole caused same to severe in two and left the vehicle with a substantial amount of damage. Trevisani complained of wrist pain and was treated at the scene by members of the New Hartford Volunteer Fire Dept. Trevisani was transported to St. Elizabeth's hospital for further treatment. Trevisani was issued a traffic ticket for moving from a lane unsafely and will answer the charge in the Town of New Hartford court on a later date.
