TWO CHARGED WITH GRAND LARCENY

On November 21, 2007 at about 3:35 PM the New Hartford Police were called to Sears in Sangertown Square Mall for a larceny.  According to Patrolman Matthew Sica, security at Sears observed Daniel J. Garrow 26 and Kaly J. Kent 22; both from Morrisville select a shopping cart full of merchandise and exit the store without paying for it.  Sears Security stopped the two and it was found that they had in excess of $1000.00 worth of merchandise in the cart.  

Upon Police arrival a background check of Garrow showed that he had an active warrant out of the Village of Morrisville.  Garrow and Kent were both charged with Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree, a Felony and issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of New Hartford Court at a later date.  Garrow was then turned over to the Madison County Sheriffs Department to answer the warrant.
